Diana Wang

Dai is a dedicated classical pianist with over 11 years of teaching experience, specialising in AMEB exam preparation and classical performance technique. Having studied classical piano and music theory extensively, she brings a refined and structured approach to her lessons while still nurturing each student’s creativity, confidence, and musical expression.

Her teaching philosophy focuses on developing the whole musician. Dai supports students in building strong technical foundations—such as tone production, posture, finger technique, sight-reading, and rhythm—while also deepening their understanding of music theory and classical repertoire. She believes that solid technical grounding and thoughtful musical interpretation go hand-in-hand, and she works to balance both in every lesson.

Dai has extensive experience teaching students of all ages, from young beginners to advanced pianists preparing for higher-level AMEB exams. She tailors her lessons to each student’s learning style and goals, ensuring they feel supported, encouraged, and challenged at the right pace. Many of her students have achieved excellent AMEB results under her guidance, and she is passionate about helping each learner develop confidence and a lifelong love for the piano.
