Emily Mills
Emily is a talented vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with extensive performance experience across a variety of genres. Following her studies at Macquarie University and JMC Academy, she began teaching vocals, guitar, piano, and ukulele in 2019, bringing both professional insight and a passion for sharing music with learners of all levels.
In addition to teaching, Emily has recorded original vocal releases in collaboration with producers, published through independent labels, and developed an extensive repertoire of original material. She has also taken on creative direction in multiple bands, honing her skills as a performer, songwriter, and arranger.
Emily’s teaching approach is thoughtful, inclusive, and tailored to each student’s goals. She aims to make learning music engaging and enjoyable while building confidence, technical skills, and creative expression. With experience teaching students from gender-diverse and neurodiverse backgrounds, Emily understands how music and songwriting can be a powerful outlet for personal expression and creativity.
Emily provides guitar, ukulele, piano, voice, and songwriting lessons in Sydney, Willoughby, and Ryde.
