Marko Pejoski

Marko is a passionate guitarist, composer, and mentor with over eight years of playing experience and several years of teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Music (Composition) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, he brings both academic knowledge and practical expertise into every lesson.

With a background spanning blues, rock, fusion, jazz, funk, and contemporary styles, Marko offers a uniquely personal and inspiring approach to music education. His lessons focus on building strong technical foundations—such as sight reading, rhythm, and theory—while also encouraging creativity through improvisation, songwriting, and composition.

As an educator, Marko has extensive experience in both primary and secondary settings. He has led guitar ensembles, founded a composition club, and mentored senior high school students in Music 2 and Music Extension subjects, including HSC preparation. His teaching style adapts to each student’s goals, whether they’re aiming for exams, performance, or simply playing for fun.

As a performer, Marko was the lead guitarist and songwriter for Deaf Perception, an alternative rock/indie band that achieved national recognition, and he now plays with Parkade, a jazz sextet performing across Sydney. He also maintains an active solo performance schedule.
