Shenoa Southgate

Shenoa is a fun, engaging, and versatile music teacher who places each student’s passion at the centre of her lessons. As an experienced vocalist, keyboard player, and guitarist, she has performed both solo and in bands and believes the most important part of music is simply to enjoy playing and expressing yourself.

Having completed a Bachelor of Creative Music at the Conservatorium of Music and studied music production at SAE Institute, Shenoa brings a well-rounded skill set to her teaching. She is experienced in songwriting and production and has released her own self-produced music online. While she has a strong affinity for pop, soul, and R&B, she enjoys exploring a wide range of genres based on her students’ interests.

Drawing from her background in private piano and vocal training, as well as her university studies, Shenoa supports students in building strong technique, musical understanding, and confidence. Her teaching approach is flexible and tailored to each learner, incorporating notation, chords, and improvisation depending on the student’s goals and preferred learning style.
