Xavier Do

Xavier is a singer-songwriter, musician, and mentor with over 8 years of playing experience and several years of teaching guitar to students of all ages and skill levels. He is currently completing a Master of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, specialising in contemporary composition and songwriting, and previously completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Music) at the University of Wollongong in 2025.

Performance and teaching have always gone hand in hand for Xavier. While living in Wollongong, he performed as a solo acoustic artist at over 40 venues across the Illawarra and was a featured performer at a festival run by Yours and Owls. During this time, he also taught guitar to primary, high school, and university students in his local area. Now based in Sydney, Xavier is further expanding his teaching practice and deepening his involvement in the local music scene. He is also the lead singer and guitarist of the indie-funk band Electric X, who are preparing to record two new tracks following a series of successful live shows.

Xavier works across a wide range of genres including jazz, rock, funk, pop, folk, and blues. He is passionate about songwriting as a powerful form of expression and believes creativity is the foundation of musical growth. His goal is to inspire the next generation of songwriters, musicians, and music lovers through engaging, supportive, and creatively driven lessons.
